In October 2004, I did an interview in Toronto with Christie McNabb for her documentary DIETING: At War with our Bodies. The film is a revealing documentary that defies the dominant diet culture, suggesting that we reclaim health, as our lifestyle-change goal and let the fat (and weight-loss preoccupation)  fall where it may. It gives voice to those who resist the notion that the human body, in all its variations, must concede to cultural or clinical ideals.
